My Progress to Blogging

Hi everyone, it’s blog time and I thought I’d start from the beginning.

My computer skills have gradually improved over a LONG time but I knew it was time to take some large strides. My previous  website  had to go and I had no idea of the best way forward. After a variety of quotes, which I wasn’t happy with, along came Liss Caldwell. We have been working closely for the past few months. I’m a ‘bit by bit’ person (so the information stays with me) and one on one, preferably. Liss and Lyndel, who took lots of pic’s plus was the graphic’s lady have  been into my workplace doing their thing, calling the shots, literally. Liss is a bundle of information, with a lot of experience behind her and she keeps up with the current and future trends.  You all know how digital life has become.  I’m very manually trained. Sometimes it takes a while for new, especially IT information to stay.  Please keep in mind I’m still a IT person ‘work in progress’.

I love the new website and really wanted a ‘water theme’. It’s simple and easy to navigate. I’m at the beach just about every morning, so the water theme fitted in nicely. The crystals love beach time. More on that in another blog.

I’m in the process of loading pieces onto the new website PLUS all the social media and a FB shop. I am slow but gradually picking up speed. All this is inbetween customers and all my other jobs. To me that is a lot of work and I have to remember to eat that elephant one bite at a time.

I’m really happy with the results so far.

When I first started working with energy and crystals I knew absolutely nothing. I jumped from one industry to another, so the learning curve has been huge.

I’ve recently joined the FREE Northern Rivers Networkers. This came along in perfect timing, as what happens in life. Last night we had a gathering at the Bangalow Pub and chatted, laughed, drank, ate and collaborated. Everyone got something out of it. If you are looking for any business help LISS is the facilitor. The night was low key and informative. We all met very talented ladies that we probably wouldn’t have met under normal circumstances.

YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHERE ALL THIS IS GOING TO LEAD. If anyone had said to me that I’d be blogging a few months ago, I would have laughed and said a definate NO.
