The Dolphin Stone
Known as the Dolphin Stone, Larimar aligns to dolphin energy. Dolphins show us how to have fun, how to ride the waves, put a smile on. They show us how to dance to the ebb and flow of the tide and how to be in flow with the rhythms of the earth.
I’m certainly having fun with all facets of these blogs and learning at the same time.
What are the crystal qualities of Larimar?
In Larimar’s composition you can see that it’s swirls look very much like the ocean. The colour is cooling, clear, clean, brilliant, add a ray of sunshine and we will be blissed out. What more could we ask for than to alleviate stresses and sit in that blissed out feeling.
I find Larimar, to be extremely uplifting, fun, playful, joyful. It will also bring out the feminine in all of us.
Larimar’s Dolphin Energy
Whenever you see a dolphin it maybe a reminder to relax your breath, allow more thoughts from the higher realms to be received. Dolphin energy will support us. By slowing down, we release emotions that are past their use by date. We are also revitalizing all of our cells.
Practice a regular routine bringing in dolphin playfulness and see how we feel. Right now our hearts, minds and souls are coming into sync so dolphin playing would be very appropriate.
In meditation, we can dive deep within and communicate and have fun with our good friends the dolphins and see what messages come through. In meditation this will be amplified.
Communication and Truth
Larimar is also a stone of communication and truth. Just imagine slowing down and receiving messages from the wonderful dolphins and higher realms. We then have the voice and knowledge of wisdom.
Larimar as a Heart Stone
In twelve months time, we will be able to look back and say, “wow, look how far I’ve come.” Speaking from the heart will be automatic and not worrying about any of the things we currently do or have in the past. We will also know that everything we automatically do is perfectly right.

As you can see from the colour alone it is another valuable heart stone. The brilliance of the blue blends with other heart stones like Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Citrine, Aventurine, Black Tourmaline and Black Obsidian.
Larimar amplified by Hematite
Larimar is sourced from the Dominican Republic. The more intense the blue colouring and contrast, the higher the value of the stone. The black colouring in the stone is hematite which balances the energies or Larimar by grounding.
Crystal Grid work
Larimar can also be used in grid work, bringing in a very peaceful uplifting energy. This type of energy will unite and synergise the energies of the grid and bring focus, to your intention.
Larimar is a valuable resource to have on hand, to keep us young at heart and in tune with nature’s rhythms. Put the fun back in your work day and carry a piece in your pocket or wear a ring.
